I remember as a child pawing at the pages and soaking in the images from a book my parents had about Georgia O'Keeffe. I loved that she was a woman that "made it" in the world of art. Prior to me knowing about her, I had only heard and read about famous artist such as Picasso, Monet and Rembrandt. Georgia O'Keeffe was the first female and was very inspirational to me.
