Colors, Prints and Jewelry - How to Wear 2013 Fall Fashion Trends

What would the beginning of Fall be without at least one shopping spree? Even when last season's outfits still look new, it's fun to invest in a few up-to-the-moment pieces for your wardrobe. And, of course, you can't forget the accessories! Read on to get the skinny on Fall 2013 fashion trends and colors, as well as how to wear them.

2013 Fall and Winter Color Overview:

Pantone's Fall 2013 colors are plenty, but in this article, we'll take a look at a handful of my favorites: Vivacious Ruby; Koi; Linden Green and the “it” color of the season, Emerald Green. It might be considered a non-color, but Winter White is another hue that you’ll want to invest in for your wardrobe this Fall.

How to Wear and Accessorize Whites & Greens:

Winter white garments look fresh with any of Pantone's Fall 2013 colors. But as a nod to the winter weather that's coming our way, I think white outfits pair festively with anything Emerald, making me think of Evergreen trees against a snowy backdrop. Can't you just smell the pine in the air?

Emerald is Pantone’s top pick for Fall 2013, however a range of greens are trending in stores this season.

If you're cool toned, you'll look beautiful in Emerald. Purchase an Emerald dress or blouse for the holiday parties you're sure to be invited to. Accent your outfit with a a complimentary hue of Vivacious Ruby Swarovski earrings or Vivacious Ruby necklace for some added richness. Emerald Greens and Ruby pair naturally to each other.

On the other hand, warm toned ladies look lovely in the lighter shade of Linden Green. Purchase a Lichen Green blouse or scarf, and pair it with shimmering Koi earrings.
