Gold-filled Lever clasp adjustable necklace extender. I made this because a few customers of mine commented to me that they like to wear their jewelry in the winter (of course), but are turtle neck wearers. Their necklaces get a little snug when worn over their turtle necks, so the necklace extender was born. Simply add the clasp to the clasp already on your necklace and whola, a more comfortable fit.
About Gold Filled:"14/20" gold-filled material is made with 14-karat gold and the gold represents 1/20th (or 5%) of the total weight of the material. Gold-filled findings have an actual layer of 14K gold and is considered of greater value and quality over "Gold plated" items. "Gold Plated" items have a microscopic layer of gold that can be easily scrapped and damaged. "14/20" Yellow gold filled materials are a wonderful, cost-effective option to its sister, 14K gold. Although Gold-Filled is not new, there is renewed interest in the material due to the high cost of precious metals.
