AAA grade white freshwater pearl drop earrings wire wrapped by hand using gold-filled wire. Each earring dangles freely at 1.5 inches from a gold-filled bar off of gold-filled earwires. Each pearl will vary slightly in shape and size since they are natural freshwater pearls however I do my best to pair them up properly. The general size /shape of each pearl is 10x8mm with a rice shape.

What is gold-filled? 14/20 gold-filled material is made with 14-karat gold and the gold represents 1/20th (or 5%) of the total weight of the material. Gold-filled findings have an actual layer of 14K gold and are considered of greater value and quality over "Gold plated" items. "Gold Plated" items have a microscopic layer of gold that can be easily scrapped and damaged. 14/20 Yellow gold-filled materials are a wonderful, cost-effective option to its sister, 14K gold. Although Gold-Filled is not new, there is renewed interest in the material due to the high cost of precious metals.
